being away from home has given me a new found appreciation for phone calls. it's always so exciting to have something come through the letterbox with your name on it. but nothing beats hearing the voice of someone you love when they're too far away to see.

I KNOW!!! My mum called me today and I didn't register that it was actually her for about five seconds, and then I was like MUMMMMMMMYYYY!
Oh gosh.
I love it. being away is so rewarding in that way, you realise how much you love people.
